Amazing place to stay. Great hospitality. Dinner and breakfast were good. Rooms were a bit small and the beds were very creaky, but overall one of the better Refugio's we visited.

Doesn’t serve beverages if you don’t eat! We were very thirsty after a long walk. :(
Characteristic place set in the 19th century, heated by a wood stove in the entrance, while in the living room by a huge fireplace in which you can also cook! Rustic food with authentic and excellent flavours. I highly recommend trying and if you like eating the Tesella: a dish recommended by the staff who are truly kind towards the customer. Outside there is a farm with multiple animals: chickens, turkeys; horses and as far as I'm concerned cows.

An alpine hut suspended in time where everything seems to have remained intact in times gone by, where polenta was cooked in a large pot over the open fire of the fireplace and roasts were cooked in economical wood-fired kitchens. To have lunch you need to book a few days in advance, the wait will be repaid by the kindness of the girls who offer and serve traditional "poor" dishes from Val Canali at the tables. Everything was really good, from the cured meats to the soups, up to the main courses and the desserts. House red wine of rare goodness, perfect for their succulent, protein-rich cuisine, rich in noble fats. To try.
